8 super heavy-duty panels comply with local council / government pet cat dog enclosure kennel requirements. Pet enclosure / playpen can be made bigger by adding additional panels. Pet pen run features heavy duty strong galvanised steel frame. Pen can be attached to a house wall or a fence to use it as dog fencing. Panels are galvanised and powder coated for longevity, durability and rust protection.  

Enclosures are a great alternative to pet crates as they provide your pets more room to play around. Dog playpen can be easily set put in your backyard or any outdoor place. Your dog will be able to enjoy the open air and play around without ruining your garden or veggie patch. Enclosures can also be used as kennels for big breeds like German Shepherd, Rottweiler, Dobermann, Great Dane or Greyhounds.

What are the local council / government requirements for a dog enclosure?

Minimum height and width to be 1.8m. Some councils require width to be over 1.8m. Check with your council. Enclosure area depends on number of dogs you are housing.

Enclosure is escape-proof so that the dog cannot escape over or under the enclosure.

Panels must be fixed to the floor and the gap between the panel and the floor no more than 5cm.

Floor must be constructed of concrete and have proper drainage to a drain.

Must contain a weatherproofed sleeping area.

Weldmesh wire to be of thickness 4mm

Mesh spacing no more than 50mm

Or the enclosure can be attached to wall or fence (screws/brackets to attach the pen to wall or fence are not included) in these following ways

• 6 panels in straight line to form 5.4m in length and 1 panel of 0.9m each across on either end fixed to wall
• 4 panels in straight line to form 3.6m in length and 2 panels across on either end
